All had fun, the water was great, except for the last 2 hours, we were way down near the dam, and the kids were swimming in the water. We have rented boats from Paradise Boat Rental at Lake Lanier, on many occasions over many years.This year, so far, we have rented a 20 ft party barge for our entire family and grandkids also renting a tube. You will have to carry all your trash all the way to parking which is at least 10 minute walk Also be absolutely prepared for a stinking bathrooms in a boat and responses like "it happens" when you complain about it. If you xo rent - be prepared for last minute weather change as they do not pay heed to any predictions. Fortunately for us it did not rain after 3 hours of drive for rain check and we ended up boating. This is the most unreasonable expectation from a customer. We had to drive 3 hours to check in with them and only then they would cancel the service. The service would not allow us to until last minute. The weather conditions needed us to rebook the boat. Really? We were charges $600 for a boat with a stinking bathroom and it happens?Ģ. What was upseting was not the stink but the response we got - it happens.
Even when we went swimming, as we swam close the boat, the stink of the bathroom make it very un pleasant. Then entire journey we had to stay with the stink of the bathroom. We complained about it and the response we got back was - such things happen.
